I was at Home Depot this weekend and they only had FSU's so I picked up a few bags. They seem to run very nice in my stove. Plenty of heat from them, and the price was very cheap $3.94 a bag. Will have to pick up some more of them this week.

I've gone through about 3 tons so far this year. For the price I paid, $209 per, I can't complain. They have kept my family warm this winter an this last month has been COLD!

I bought 6 tons of Firesides for this year, love them. I have used them before. I think I paid $183 per ton at HD. I twisted their arm to use a 10% coupon.

At that price ($197/ton), I'd get at least a couple tons for next year....not a bad pellet this year.

definitely worth the price my problem is storage for a couple ton right now. Seeing I may be moving this summer.
I have my home for sale also. Talked to realtor, and she thought that since pellets are for heating, I can get a credit for any left over as part of the sale (just like for propane or oil left in the tank). I'm leaving the stove in the house.

I've been burning them for three years now. I switched to them after being dissappointed with Corinth, Energex, and NEWP(Jaffrey). I know Firesides are made by Energex, but the price and availability make Fireside a clear winner. The Cubex, Hammer, and Oakies are too rich for my blood no matter how good they may be.

I tried that after trying to sell my house on PEI acouple of years ago.I hace an Afton bay (St. Croix) up there. What all the prospective buyers did up there, was to say they didn't want the stove. I had one tell me to "fix" the hole that the vent had made in the wall. Obviously they wanted me to give the stove away for nothing.I didn't give it away and I didn't sell the house. I took it off the market, rather than put up with real estate agents that give buyers those kind of ideas to pressure me.
