I have an englander 25 pdvc and because of no other choice I had to get a ton of inferno pellets and they are burning horrible the ash is coming out in one piece instead of being light and fluffy like all the privious pellets I used I'm currently set at 4 5 1r can I adjust to get them to burn better

try to mix em with better pellets. infernos get terrible reviews here.

Maybe you could mix the infernos with a little diesel oil?;lol

No, please don't do that!!!!

Raise the lower button settings to 5-6-1 and see if that gives you more heat. Might even try 6-6-1.

As far as the Infernos, the only other solution was what Smoke Show mentioned....get a ton of good pellets and mix them 50/50. Doing that will probably allow you to re-adjust the lower buttons back.

Once the "Inferiors" are finally burned up, you can lower those setting back close to the original.

I have North American's from HD which quite frankly also suck. I have been having pretty good luck mixing them with Somerset "Wild WIld Awesome Stallion" Pellets.
