O' no, Dex drank the Harman cool aide. <>

I have a line on an Nice Harman P-43. Its only 5 yrs old (Quad is too) and I wanna jump on it so Bad!!

I found out today, i have to work Sunday. So I couldn't get it if I wanted. But a "Better Deal" has come along and I need this next week to work things over and see what road would be the best to travel.

If the opportunity for the "Other deal" goes through, I will be the happiest Man in the World!!

If it doesn't go through, then HOPEFULLY the Harman will still be there, and I will be happy too.

Either way, the Quad is Coming out this year (was supposed to last yr :() Just a matter of time.

Also, moving to the next room over and building a raised Hearth w/ Selkirk DT :)

I am going to check out a Ecoteck Elena that its wife wanted a traditional stove for the cabin. Son gave them a Quadrafire. Hope the roads are better tomorrow. Less than a grand.

An Ecoteck for less than a Grand... I'd jump.

The stove I am looking at is Canadian Made (Archgaurd?? Enviro?? Don't know??) LOL ;)

I really like the Eco 65, but I have the Fahrenheit already. No need for ducting.

Y'all will be the 1st to know. After the Mistake with stove last year. I just want to make sure that this time around, it's done right.

I hope for this to be the LAST stove I buy for awhile. The CPM is Gone! The old PDV is on its way out, and in the Spring, the Quad will say Good-Bye. It's gonna be the Wood eater, the Fahrenheit, and (Something else).

The wood eater is a Constant heat source, the Fahrenheit for COLD nights and days, and the Freestanding for all the shoulders and warmer days of the season. Hell, the free stander may be used a Lot more, if it does High/Low (maintenance burn). Who knows.

^^ Probably one of the above ^^ :)

I will know soon enough. For inquiring minds, there is a M-55 Demo unit on the Youngstown CL. $2,200? Also, there is a Mint P-43 under the same Citys CL. :)

Can't say no more. Want it to be a Surprise :) Its like Christmas morning. Dont wanna ruin it.

Dexter just curious I know last year you bought the cpm. Imacman has one and loves it, if you do not mind me asking what did you not like about the stove. Also if it is made in Canada we have another Enviro or Regency man on board. Anyone want start taking bets lol! Good luck with you search and I hope it works out for you.

It is the 70,000 BTU beast with the 450+CFM blower, he is tired of waiting for things to get warm ;).
NO smokey he can not have anything more powerful. There already trying to figure out about the drastic climate change with warm weather in ohio in the winter, they think it is global warming, but we know who is to blame!

Look his background check results put the ixnay on his plans for a fast breeder reactor so he is settling for second best a table top liquid thorium unit.

The Heat exchange system on the CPM was slightly underpowered. It burned pellets like a champ. It just didnt have the output that the Quad has. It would have worked, but would have more than likely used more fuel, to heat the same area. Its a Solid unit and will burn Dirt with ease. But the heat exchanger is archaic, in my opinion. Built like a convective wood stove.

Sherwood makes a very fine unit also. Its cold in Canada. So those Manufacturers have to make a Product that Produces ;)

The prize? A bag of Inferno's ;)

If you Win...?? The Winner will be determined when I get it.

Also, I may very well still get the Harman? Its a nice unit and pretty cheap. I have a couple friends and family members that want pellet stoves.

My venture was fruitfull and brought home an Italian for the kitchen-dining area for shouldering and those very cold days. Was very nice stove with spare ignitor and controller for 500. Defenantly not a fit the nice lake home but will fit in nice in my home especially if I can figure out how to change the color of the ceramic panels. Anybody have a good idea on color change without bringing to ceramic shop?

For $500 w/ extra board and ignitor? I would have one in every room ;)

Nice score...!! Now where are the pics? Cause it never happened yet? ;)
