Northern catalog , i just watch video ,thats what i need ,damn thats a nice stove, thanks
i have the fans inline in ducting ,i think im set on that end.. 2600 bones though , wow.

But you will need a convection fan to move the air. 400 CFM or more is whats ideal. Natural convection isn't gonna cut it in the cold IMHO.

Put the 45 up for sale and look into a 65. You'll be warmer.

Where did you get the 45?

I guess I am just sensitive after all of the things you guys said about my 40' chimney and unpainted house err I mean.... uh... Nevermind. ;) I don't really think anyone was grouchy just wanted to be sure credit is givin where credit is due.

That was such a sad story :( Cant believe that guy thought it needed to be vented like a wood eater.

I installed an OAK on my P43 on Thursday, after much reading on this forum. I was still a bit skeptical, but with some of my starting issues, and flame differences when my fan or heater were on, I thought what the heck. Besides, the parts were $80. Wow, what a difference! Bigger, more consistent flame, using far less pellets, and the thing is producing even more heat on less pellets, or so it appears. Oh, and since I am not sucking out my nice warm air, it sure seems to get hotter faster in the house. This leads to me turning it down, saving even more pellets. :):):):):)

Outside air will ALWAYS increase the stove efficiency and ability to heat the home. Congrats. All 3 of mine have OAK's installed.

They were on sale last year for $1,999. Several here have them. With the ability to run two 4"-5" ducts, to put the air where you need it, and a distribution blower that can really create a good convective current in any home.

Your set-up may work well ducted, but a stove that has a larger blower, will work much better. IMO.

Does the Eco-45 use the same bottom feed design as the Eco 65? It is very similar to the Harmans and works well.

I'm not sure at feeder but I think it does??

Do the pellets "Drop" from a hole down into the pot? Top feeder

Or does the auger feed the pellets straight out into the pot? Bottom Feeder

The Eco65 is a Bottom feeder :) And a Great heater.

I used 3" rigid dryer vent and 3" flex to make connection.

(The caulk dried clear, it was Super cold that day).
