In bed and in that fog between not quite asleep and not quite awake, I hear an odd sound. Crap, I think, one of the blowers on the pellet stoves is way off...

Daughter getting ready for school and the culprit is ... the hairdryer

Funny that should happen ..I got home today and was sure I had turned my stove off before I left.I walked back in later in the day and heard a humming sound and said to myself Shoot ! That sounds like the gosh darn doodely igniter..I hurried up the stairs to find my old fridge was the culprit !

For 30 years I have lived in the approach path of an International airport and a large private airport. Ya would not believe how often a jet on long final approach can sound like a chimney fire.

I had several chimney fires and didn't know it.
