has anyone tried these, north country softwood from bc shipped to quebec then bagged got 1 ton at cost

Just dumped in some yesterday for trial.

These pellets are the cleanest burning I have seen in a looooong time. Fair amount of fines but that may be from the pallet wrapping damage that got us 50.00/ton discount. Nothing bothering the stove though.

HOT HOT HOT. Small pellets and they do burn quick. I have gone through almost a bag and a half since 3pm yesterday but that also includes a basement recovery after a 8 hour shutdown for cleaning so usage may not be accurate yet. I have turned the feed rate down to 2 this morning to lessen the pellet usage and see how the heat is. Outside temp is around 30 deg, but I am using zero oil even in upstairs bedrooms. Would like to see how they hold up at zero temps, but I have no problem waiting till next year for that ;)

Looks like I found my "go to" fuel for next season, especially when it is looking like the discounts are going to be few. If Great Works can get them down to 260-265 I may spring for a pallet or 2. Given the clean burn and heat, I would love to burn these exclusively...but not in the fiscal cards.

How much was the 1 ton?

I called Great works yesterday and they are going for 280$ a ton. They are carrying LaCretes also but she couldn't give me a price.

I think we got the next to last pallet at 230 last Saturday. He was getting in new product without the damage.

Ya, I'm a little late. I've been working weird hours and haven't had a chance to get over there.

Hoot, if you like the Spruce Pointe, you will love these. These are the only pellet this season to give me a light, fluffy white ash. Everything else has given a dense, dark gray that coats everything.

It got to the point I thought I had door gasket issues as they are getting a bit thin. Not the gasket, it has been the fuel. But after 5 burning seasons, gasket replacement is on my off season list

Just got a truckload of these in two weeks ago. Here are the pro's:
1. Super Clean
2. Super Hot
3. Very little dust
4.Made by a family owned sawmill that uses only their own sawdust. Therefore, this pellet is about as consistent as Antarctican weather.

Here are the Cons:
1.....

So there you have it. I say this not to "pump my own products" so to speak, because you will not see them on my website, nor do I thinkl that I will be able to afford the freight to bring them in next year. I only offer this to you as an affirmation that these pellets are the real deal. If you can get them, do so!

I will gladly do so under the following conditions.
1. That you run the Orford, Dry Creek Super Premium, Country Boy and LaCretes that I gave you through that "not so smart" stove of yours and post us the results.
2. That lunch consists of a bone-in Cowboy style ribeye at Morton's Steak House in Hartford.

ahhhhh hell....come on down, we'll getcha a couple of bags on the house.

Hey J. Are you on the "not so smart" stove welfare program from Ct Pellet?

Anyone can get on the program. It is funded by our current Whitehouse Administration and gives free pellets and cell phones to those who would rather not pay for them.

Orford's
La Crete's
Country Boy
Turmans
Dry Creek Super Premiums
MWP softies

Promised from you know who.

Might have room for a couple more(hints anyone)! ::-)

Unless I completely missed it I don't recall seeing Geneva in your lineup last round. Possibility?
