Stihl 023 Deal??

All, I hate to do things this way but got a person needs $$$ offered me his 023 for $100.

I offered him a loan, he refused, Sorry but I gotta jump on this<>!
It's an older one and runs good, your thoughts?
 
If he's a friend and won't take a loan, I'd buy it for $100. Take care of it and sell it back to him for the same price when things get better.
Not a close friend, I suggested that too, I think he has legal issues, (child support) "not really sure" but if I don't get it now, some one else will.... ;hm
 
I'd say a real minty one would be worth about $175-$200. So if it shows a little wear but runs right, it's a good deal at $100, but I wouldn't feel bad about it. He offered at that price and he needs some quick cash.

then again, I just checked out your sig......you trying to collect the series? :)
 
If he needs the cash, He is going to sell it to some one, If It makes U feel better give him $110

No, it just happened to work out that way... I gave hime $120 and took it home last night, I think he's selling all his crap and heading south.<>
