I vote this for the most reproduced video on Hearth.

Hey Trickle - as long as you are new around here, check this one out: (and welcome to the forum)

Crappy quality video but cool splitter set up. They split a face cord in 3 1/2 minutes in another video.

I'm assuming you guys have seen this but couldn't find it when doing a search. Have a look...

Actually had not seen it. Welcome to the forum and I want one!!!!

Now this one I have seen in person...or one very close to it. There is one a few miles up the road from us...amazing stuff.

Como,
Yours take the cake.
Its EMP proof

Plus it works cheap...for hay...well actually pricing out the current cost of hay maybe gas is cheaper

Another cool set up... I like the way you can split with a single wedge or four way depending on where you place the wood.

Wonder if they make a bare bones unit? I don't need to ride/drive my splitter anywhere.

5 grand? Are they friggen nuts? Nothing on that machine - including design, warrants that.

Yeah, you should see the prices on Timberwolf machines. That is why I am going to learn how to weld and build my own. Cannot justify spending $5,000+ just for a splitter. Now, $5,000 for a splitter AND welder, that is a different story. Knowing how to weld, priceless.

I was not going to feed them, there are a couple just wandering around eating grass on the land to the east of me, so I thought I could just borrow one.

Plus it is easily scalable, need double the power, just add another tread mill.

I noticed that the vertical type is very common in the UK. Seems to be the norm. This one works out at $4,000.

It did occur to me that if they replace the hydraulics with a flywheel it would be much quicker. If top heavy.
