Just picked up 15 bags MWP's at my local TSC to get me through the rest of the never ending season. 30 bags oughtta do it! Well, would have picked up a ton because I've been happy with the MWP's as a shoulder pellet and then some, but they raised their price for this batch to $4.69 a bag ($219 per ton). They know that the pellets are leaving the store as soon as they get them so they feel entitled! bastahds!! Well, anyway....I'll be stopping at my local pellet house to start stocking up for next season pretty soon!

Its business not personal

They have been 219 at my local TSC for several months. In November they were $209.

They $229/ton at TSC here, but they discount 10% or so, charge $209.

i went around yesterday....
farmington TSC, bristol home depot, plainville lowes, southington lowes, sold out
found some energex at southington agway... for $6.90 a bag.

I bought 10 :(

expensive but no one else has 'em and i only have about 10 left in the house. so, this 10 brings me to mid april hopefully.

Kinda gives new meaning to we Yankee thrifts. Heck, $219 is cheap compared to years ago!
;)

Some folks here seem good at "working it", with coupons (Lowes, HD)....and then waiting for a low price. Put them together, and I've heard of some of the lowest price buys ever! But you have to play the game and look/wait for that stuff.
I guess there is some fun in the chase. A $40 product I just bought went on sale for 15% off today and it makes me feel just a bit bad....but then I realized quickly that was crazy! $6. In fact, less than that, because I got free shipping.

Geez, CT pellet and BT Ent has some very nice pellets for around $6.00 a bag. All day every day and they will even load em in you vehicle.

Why would ya pay more at a box store?

BT doesn't sell by the bag this time of year.
at least they didn't last year when i went down. they were only doing full tons

i've never been to ct (don't even know where it is to be honest)
