I'm mad - I thought I bought enough last summer, but the cold weather and the long season ran me out - 4.2+ tons this year; damn. At the same time, Lowes seems to have run out of reasonable pellets and is left with Inferno craptacular pellets, which I think are made of dirt. I am looking to load up, join the Pellet Pig club and not look back at another rationing time.....

When you find a good deal on decent pellets you fill up your storage area back to front and bottom to top. Then come what may, you have pellets. Smokey lives off a shared driveway that is uphill in both directions and once winter comes he doesn't want trucks going over it or attempting the corner just below the crest of the hill and can go weeks in the winter without ever leaving the lot.

Pretty hard to run out of pellets unless you`re broke. It`s not like having an innacurate oil tank guage.

Shelton to ct pellet is like 45 mins and that's not slow and with a ton of pellets on the way home an hour easy so let's be real ok

Just looked at Weather.com and all I see is mildness the next 10 days out. Been keeping the stove running on low and very comfortable. I grabbed a ton of MWP about 10 days ago, much to the wife's shagrin....She does not understand "shoulder pellets" and you keep the good stuff "in the bank" until you need it. As a Pellet Pig, I break out in hives, have shortness or breathe and start mumbling if I get down under a three ton stash....
