to give a sense of size.... the white panel behind the wood panel is 3 1/2 feet wide...

The pile is mostly locust with shag and bitternut hickory, ash, cherry and soft maple....

that's my 1050... my splitter is in the barn... 3 times that pile is actually very conservative.... that pile I brought over with 3 trips on the 5x8.... the last trip was ONE locust tree... with some 4' bucked maple tops...
 
Is the ground still froze there & easy to drive off trail?
I see snow in the pic.

most of the frost is out.... the field is dry... there is still snow in places... (my backhoe is still frozen in)...
