In The Woods
The wood I'm stacking was dropped last fall (pic 6249) , split then stacked in a high wind area. The area I'm stacking in holds three cord, the wood that is stacked was three trailer loads so this rack should be finished later tomorrow.

The wood in pic 7001 is the wood left from the tree in pic 6249, we have some other cherry that has been up for two or three years that will also go in the area I'm stacking.

Sounds like you've been busy. I'm getting the itch to hit the hills or just back in the woods, this warm weather should get rid of the rest of the snow so the rest of the hills open up.

The big hill that runs the length of the brook has a nice size tree down, not sure what it is but I'm thinking it's maple, I'll see this weekend.

My wife already thinks I have lost it lol. I am currently taking pallets apart so I can use the slats and build fence panels to fence the yard in. Me thinks I will get scolded for the second floor idea !

That's most of our good hardwood (beech and sugar maple) we only burn about 1.2 cord a year so we are set for a few years ::P we do have some yellow birch with more cherry in that section.

I did cut a good amount of American Hophornbean that has been seasoning all winter along with that Oak scrounge I grabbed last fall.

Your snow is gone
You need more tarps, those look to be getting old & worn. OR
a wood shed ==c

What are all the green poles for ? Snow markers ?
Looking good zap. Had to bust your balls before Dennis does. LOL ;lol

Nice big cherry needing some attention , have fun!

I got 3 cord in the shed for 15/16.
Rest of 15/16 is out back Ice & snow covered.

The Oak is on the left end, the splits with the white ends are American Hophornbeam.

That's nice looking stacks you have. I don't believe I have seen American Hophornbeam before.

That Cherry that's in the pic on the ground, I'm stacking, did that last fall. It would have been nice for milling.

What kind of wood are the sleepers? Did you make 'em?

Looking good, brother! I cant wait to finish my living room up so I can get to cutting, splitting, and stacking again!!

They are Lowe specials, landscaping timbers. Once I start some milling I might make some, I would never buy these again.

You have enough WOOD! That room looks great but will look even better once it's done, plus the boss will be very happy.

If you can find halfway straight ones when they put them on sale they aren't all that bad.
I think I bought a bunch when they were $3.97 - figure if they last 6-8yrs that's a few seasons worth of stacking - untreated lumber wouldn't make 2yrs before the termites swisscheesed it here

And now if we could just talk zap into getting rid of those ugly t-posts..... ;)
