Thinking about purchasing for next year. Local hardware store (not big box) has these brands, priced per ton. Anything worth picking up?

Maine Woods, $219.50
Hardwood/softwood blend

Corinth, $234.50
Hardwood/softwood blend

Energex, $284.50
100% Softwood

Canawick, $279.50
100% Hardwood

I would go to Home depot and get Fireside Ultras for $197 a ton. They are made by Energex and are superior to Corinth and just as good as the branded Energex. I've been burning them for 5 years with no problems.

X2. FSU's burn pretty good.
