$1850 for oil fired boiler flue liner?

Do you know how many input BTU's your furnace is? You would need to figure that out first to see what size of liner you need. Then go to the roof and measure the inside dimensions of the terra cotta flue. My guess for height would be about 25' if the furnace is in the basement. Take a flash light and inspect down the chimney for possible bends of flues that are not aligned very well on top of each other.

Many times, you can use a 5.5" liner, that will give you the little extra space needed to make the install easier.

I never really considered doing this myself. I have a feeling my wife will veto this.

Who has the hole puncher today? Ten holes in your man card, and we revoke it, much like the frequent customer card at the local deli. ;hm
 
I know! Really! I think i convinced her last night. The $1000+ savings changed her mind.

Get her something nice with her 10% of that!
