One of my neighbors is taking down a lovely white oak, about 26" DBH. Pics here. The tree service is scheduled for early Tuesday morning. Tragically, I can only take a fraction of the wood. Get in touch if you're interested and I may be able to hook you up.

Hmm...maybe i can fill mom's yard with white oak and bring some home to VA every Christmas,,,yeah, wife'll go for that.
