Nimrod, that looks awesome!!

Just be carefull and monitor those stones on the sides of the stove, especially the left side since it's so close. Mine is a corner install (further away), and yet the dark colored slate stones really "soaks" up the heat.

I was going to post I paid an installer to do it, and he used an Escalara (as posted above) to unload from truck and move into place. But ofcourse getting it straight up the side of my hosue 3 stories was another story (see my install pic linked in signature). ;)

Enjoy the PH! She is an awesome stove your going to love!

Yes. In this photo, the stove isn't connected yet. Its now connected to the pipe. I've centered the stove and moved it out in to the room a bit giving me more heat clearance and clearance to open the side door. I think I may have had my last fire of the season in it yesterday. :( Looking forward to next winter. (sort of)

We got it down the stairs on the Appliance dolly with those roller straps to ease it down each stair. Five guys.....one step at a time. Not too bad once we figured out the best position. I'll get some better pictures up. This is the only one I have right now....cluttered with tools. Finishing basement. Carpet coming soon. I'm surprised how the entire stove heats up. The whole thing is putting off some serious heat. No cold spots. Even legs warm up. Starting fires is easier than in any other stove I've used. (I've only used Pre EPA stoves) Better draft system?? Gotcha.... Well then, LETS SEE IT!!! ;)

If you want to pull it way out, you can. Just add the front ash lip, it narrows the front hearth clearance down to only 8".

Thanks. My wife layed all the brick on the bottom. We each worked on the rock. Big job but well worth it. Personally, I was just going to do a small square tile pad, but my wife has more vision, more energy and more patience. I will get some more pics soon.

Wow! It's all I can say. Congrats!
