I had been looking for another limbing saw for a while, I wanted something really light and this little puppy is 7.5 lb dry.
I don't think it had much use and just by pulling on it I can tell it has good compression.
I took the pic as soon as I Pulled it out of the truck, no clean up.
It started up and idled good but, was running rich.
Put Fresh gas in it tuned it up ,( tuned it to 11,500 WOT) , cleaned the air filter ( but was hardly dirty ) put on a sharp chain , and put it into the wood.
This Little saw has some guts,it had no problem getting through a 6 inch limb.
I like it , this is a nice little saw ,33.4cc, purge bulb ,adjustable oiler, wearing a 14 inch bar , and the price was definitely right .:)

Oops forgot the Pic

Nice addition.
light weight is good.
$60 is hard to go wrong for a fairly new, running saw :)

Great deal HD that saw looks like new! I've had an Echo weed whacker GT1100 for over 20 years that still runs well..

Acquired one of these along the way years ago, discovered it in the barn last fall. Fortunately I had stored it with no gas and it took right off with fresh fuel. Deleted the honeycomb and other details in the muffler, replaced chain with 91VXL, tuned it up, and it has really been great. It seems eager to please. Nice for hiking trails and cleaning up along the way.

Ya , I ordered a 91VXL for it last night.
"Deleted the honeycomb and other details in the muffler" I read something about that, not sure what needs to be done but, haven't looked at or taken muf off, may need some help with that :)

Man I like this little bugger, touched up the chain with a file and cut some 10-12" stuff ,It did real good but, I had to break out the Husky 61 today for the big stuff

Sweet! Hard to beat that price. Thanks for the pic. We love pics!

;lol No he didn't
I have heard a lot of good things about Echo's and, It fit what I was looking for. After using It a little I think it's a good saw
The guy I bought It from has a little buy sell shop and didn't know much about chainsaws, he could have gotten, 110 or 120 out of it.
The guy that cut my trees by my pole barn had a 100cc Echo , I pulled on the rope, man U need some muscle to start that thing.

CS1001VL? That's not an everyday sight, especially one that's running/working. (No real fault of Echo's, just not a popular model here in the US, and parts can be tough to get.)

I went and looked at the current Echo models and didn't see a 100cc model, so I was wondering but, I was going by what he said.
Seems like he said something about, it came from Canada

CS1001V is a vintage model from the 70's. It would've been predominately orange with the filter cover on the left side.

The more I use this little saw the more I love it , I keep the chain good n sharp and it does great, and at 7.5 lbs there is no fatigue

My Echo 510EVL was a great saw. Less trouble than perhaps any other saw I've ever owned, and surprising torque for a little 50cc saw. I can't say anything bad about Echo, based on my experience, but I have heard their saws from the late 1990's or early 2000's had some problems.

Great find and saweet price! Good for you! Cheers!

Nice! I could use a little saw like that
