I've been working on this for 2 days now repairing damage after one of nature's tantrums. Monday night a Virga Bomb occured in metro Albuquerque. It's a concentrated blast of air downward. It broke and knocked over 2 miles of 115KV poles. 11 poles being replaced. Sent an electric shockwave across all of NM, Eastern AZ, Southern Co, and West TX.

Wow!

A Viagra bomb would leave those 'poles' standing...

Vigra is rain that evaporates before it hits the ground. I presume a vigra bomb is a lot of rain that evaporates, creating a wind vortex of some type.

Right. This is an extreme virga resulting in a dry micro burst. Lasted about 5 minutes. I don't know what the wind speed was but anything that can cause that much damage to a small area without affecting other structures is unreal. This is in a residential neighborhood and homes outside of the blast radius were untouched. More like a virga on viagra.

wind is so unpredictable. So much damage done in just a moment in time. When I was a kid back in the 50's, we had bad hurricanes that knocked many tress down and ripped off roofs. Looks like we may cycle back into that pattern. Back then, we called it bad luck. Now they call it global warming.
