Umm...that's nice....

started another one yesterday. This will be mostly Oak with some sass and birch mixed in for 2014-15

removed all t posts in the back, ones in front should be fine for this year. Started two more stacks. One against the fence is all oak and birch, other two are the 2 year seasoned hardwoods i got from that scrounge.

Plus with the heavy rain tonight I figured I would try out my new covering material. See how well it works in a monsoon

Looks good USMC80! What did you make that cover out of? I've been looking at doing the same thing but with fence posts on each corner of my stacks.

You know the black silt fence used along the highways under construction? Its a overpriced version of that (much thicker and made of a foam and fabric). I just happened to land a roll (500ft) for free.

Wow nice!! That should do the job! What's the material called or the name of the product?

Do not remember to be honest. It's a product that was just too expensive to catch on

Well it looks like it will do the trick for you.

Your wood supply is coming along very nicely! ;) What is this new covering material you're using?

We got A LOT of rain so can't complain about the results. You can see a little wetness near the right middle which can easily be corrected. Not worried about it TBH.

Finished the two stacks and covered as they are as dry as they are gonna get 12-15% MC. Also continued on my winter 17-18 oak.

Very nice!! Your stacks are coming along. I really like that top cover you use!

Moved more oak and birch rounds to my new splitting station. Clearing out the front driveway to keep the old lady happy.

Very nicely done. Like the top cover use too.

All those ugly rounds once split look great stacked with your cross pieces. Your stacks look nice and secure.

Luckily been calling her that since we met (12 years) it's not meant in a negative way lol. She's younger than me

I bet that tree in the center starts shaking everytime it sees you... :)
