As some of you know I have a bad arm, however, I came across a craigslist ad, that the contractor wanted removed, already cut into 1' to 10' lengths and he explained he would load with a skid steer. I called a buddy I helped last year get ahead, to see if he could help me, and he did. We had 2 pickups, filled with what the ad explained as being all birch. Its 90% ash! We need to make 2 more trips, only a 20 minute drive, throughout next week. I took some photos of my F250 loaded to the gills. Sorry, it was getting dark, I'll post better ones tomorrow when I get it unloaded. :) Its going to be a good weekend :)

Well, 2 of 6. We had 2 trucks, and need to make a few more trips. My buddy and I will split it between the 2 of us since he'll be doing all the grunt work. Due to my recent injury, the only work i'll be doing is pulling the splitter lever! :D

Great score!
Six loads like that are about twelve of the loads I get. _g

It's a Ford....no sweat. Front seat will hold a few pieces and heck that's a crew cab you can put some in the back. o_O

I have to tell you from experience you will need to let that arm heal. You can still use it, but NO lifting. In time, you will be healed but it will take 4 or more months. Even after 10 months, my arm still reminds me to be careful. But I am up in years and don't bounce back as fast.
Fantastic score on the wood. Nice to have a buddy to help you out. I bet he knows you would do the same for him!
Good luck with your recovery.

Thanks, and trust me, no arm work. Only hydro lever action.

Heck of a load there. Great score
Getting It loaded for you, is great, cuz loading is harder than unloading

Great score. Take care of the arm first and foremost.

My buddy got it all unloaded. Our plan for monday evening will be to spend an hour cutting, (not me) loading the skidsteer a few times and load the trucks. Pictures will follow
