I see a familiar looking ES Light box.

Looks like a test run with 3 different chains? (And hope there is a 460 somewhere)
Ding ding ding!

I mislead you guys slightly. Because the ES Light bar is a 28" and the "test chains" are 20" loops. But I will post pics of the pretty 460 wearing that 28" beauty and full skip RSF chain.

Oh yeah, the other loop in that pic is RM chain. Yellow label, no bumper links or goofy tie straps. Been jonesin' for a couple loops of plain Jane RM so I finally pulled the trigger.

Gonna see RS, RSLK, and RM compared all in one vid. ::-)

Will your new grinder handle square ground?

Only if I find and pony up for the rare, no longer available, attachment. They show up on AS from time to time but there are quite a few bidders with big check books that want one. I think if I pursue the square chisel hobby, I will go with the jig and files that Nixon is using. (Atoll?). I certainly won't be doing a lot of them for customers as everybody around here looks at you funny when you mention that there are several different types of chain. I could always just grind it round and have RSK chain. The Klassic cutter shape is interesting, supposedly more efficient than RS/RSC. Big difference on that raker shape!

Yea I know what you mean. 90 percent of what I get is 16 inch Oregon safety chain. I don't even use my cyclone wheel much. (Mostly my own chains)

I ran a loop of RSK on my 372 with a 28" bar and really liked it. Now my 28" is on the 2100, so it gets full comp RSC. I'm done buying anything but Stihl chain as a local amish dealer has 1 chain at retail, second for $4.

Looking forward to the vids.

I highly doubt it's going to be THAT big of a difference AC. But you're welcome to the crawlspace anytime. :p

Did you catch the comparison vid I did a while back? Nixon loaned me an Oregon CL square chisel chain and I ran it up against Stihl RS. Results were VERY surprising.

Clarify for me Jay, You want to see the RSLK (square-ground Klassic Chisel) new and then after I convert it to RSK? (Round grind)

If that's the case, then ... ME TOO!! ;lol

Two chains of the same brand make and model. One new and one that has been re-ground at-least once. So the test is on the grinder.

Missed that one MM. Great vid. Can't wait to see Stihl for Stihl. Love that 460, made me laugh when it 4 stroked. That says balls. A C

Most likely won't post vids to this thread but you all will know when/where I do.

Nope. I'm still busy in the shop and fixing some plumbing issues here at home. But the test victim is strapped into the newly built stand and all the hardware I plan on running is present and accounted for.
