In The Woods
This is just across the trail from the hard maple I worked on tonight, not sure if I'll mill it or use it for shoulder season firewood, I wish that redish color was through the whole tree.

sure looks like an aspen or poplar to me, Zap. Lots of good wood for projects in that tree brother. I'd be milling it.
I can get in that area real easy so I'll try to get it done, we do want more wood from milling for some shelves.

that'd make some dandy shelves, Zap. I'm going to try and do some projects with dear wifey sometime soon the next month or so. Maybe make a couple benches and such for the house. I got some antique wainscot out of my buddy's place he's remodeling (built in 1890), I'm going to help the wife make a neat settee or something for the living room out of that and some of those rustic poplar boards I milled last summer.

I'm sure it will look great. I'll have to get the milling equipment dusted off.

I'm sure a reminder link would go a long way toward putting a smile on all our faces.;)
I have some foot problems that will keep me from doing any shuffles.
