Zap, you gots wood
On the way out last night I noticed our neighbor lost two trees away from her house so I stopped by to offer my help, she said ok but we'll need to come up with a date since we both have some chit going on.

It should be a good days work, one his a hemlock and the other looks like a maple, she has the Kubota so it will make things a bit easier.

zap, your probably never going to have to cut a tree down. MN is keeping you in the wood!

That's for sure, just wish she would take down more of the widowmakers. The last storm was easier on the lot compared to the May storm, the good thing is we have some cooler weather you can work in, we dropped to 47 last night.

Storms...the gift that keeps on giving. Nice stuff, Zap

I think we all need a break with some of this weather, it looks like the hurricane season might get started up in the next couple of weeks.

It will be about three years by the time I finish from these storms, an we still have four areas that we need to check.

The area that took the worst hit is the area I cut on, our house is on a seperate lot, a few pines came down inside the woods away from the house.

The uprooted hung up trees will be taken down by mother nature, I'm working on the easy chit.

It's been a good workhorse, the wife wanted the rhino, kind of hard to argue that one.

I had a guy tell me on Sunday that his Ranger was a better machine, an if I ever road a ranger the rhino would be history. The guy can't even get out of his truck let alone do work on his ranger, I told him that I never drove a ranger but I've done more work in one week in the rhino than he's ever done in the ranger.

He can't wash his own truck, he had a lady move his washer & dryer (she details his truck too) but some how he's a big expert on the rhino.

Then he had the balls to ask me if he could take his truck for a ride on the property.

Sounds like you have enough work on your hands already. You don't need to be dragging "free willy" to safety after he rolls his truck on your property.>>

Ah yes, the armchair pros.
