I was so pleased with how well my MS440 was cutting red oak that I took my first ever video cutting cookies.
Dual port, 20" bar, 8 pin, chisel chain.

Yep, a bolt-on DP cover on a 440 is the easiest mod you can do. My answer to the heavier and far more vibe prone 460. Also an 8 pin rim on a 20 inch bar is a great setup for that saw. Gets the chain speed up.

Thats a damn fine saw and cuts good..

It is a saw that makes me happier and happier that I bought it every time I cut with it. Dang CAD!

Buried your foot in nice chips in nothing flat, that's what we like to see. I definitely like my 440 better than my 460 for the cutting I need to do. More than adequate power with less vibration and weight. Figuring to eventually sell my 460 to someone who really needs/wants all that power. You have the right keeper there  .

Do sent work with tapatalk? I just get a larger version of image if I click it. I guess its an optical illusions that the log has a crocked cut on it? The cookie looks level and even?

Very nice! I think 70cc saws are a sweet spot for bigger wood.

Yeah, I just viewed it on tapatalk and it won't play probably because I hosted the video on photobucket and it is a link that bumps you to photobucket when you click it.

Still can't view it on my tapatalk? Maybe its the version I have? I got a free one, I did not pay for my tapatalk.
