So I just replaced my igniter and my stove goes from cold to flame in seven minutes.

Just seeing how other stoves match up.

PS....Room blower comes on at 13 min

Lets see, Bixby on corn about 6, PC45s on pellets under 5, Elena about 4, Hestia about 6 on corn

The stoves with the pressure igniters are the cats meow! But cost the moon when its time for new.
Damn I'm at 21 minutes.what am I doing wrong?????????????????
Did ya contact FyreBug? HE says he has some tricks.

Dang...all you guys got me beat!!!

Well, except for Hyfire.....I feel better now lol

20 minutes plus with a pressure igniter doesn't seem right?

You might get a faster light if the end of the igniter is back away from the burn pot side just a bit and if your igniter is sticking out into the burn pot you really need to pull it back.

Its depth is fixed by a shoulder, it can't be put any lower in, so I don;t think that is the issue. The auger has a tendency to stack the pellets not close to the ignitor, until the 2nd firing attempt where it fill the burn pot up big time then it starts within one minute, or so after that happens.

Englander 10-cpm goes from cold stove to flame in about 2 1/2 minutes.

I was responding to the OP.

Try 1/8" which is still inside the tube but not quite as far as you have it. Also make sure that the area around the igniter is clean. I doubt if you get much of a change but you might pick up a minute.

I will move it up when I get a spare minute...it is actually very easy to change on my stove. 15 min job. My first igniter was outside the tube about 1/16.....didn't last very long

4 minutes to flame and another 4 before the conv blower kicks on.

Yes just rechecked it, however todays ignition time was about 7 minutes. I am getting some in-consistency's on the ignition time for some reason.

Are your pellets Looong?

A short pellet will be more consistent.

If I get time in a few days, I will post a video of my stoves start up. My Quad was pretty quick. But this one may have it beat :)

3 minutes 18 seconds.....
