ok ive heard you all like pics well here you go. all of this came out of the ditch banks on my property. a couple kind neighbors with big tractors helped a bunch. this wood may not be ready now, but, look out 2 years out. id's??? honey locust, red oak, hedge, elm, hackberry. how bout that stack. messy but, effective.

Having the tractors when cutting in ditch banks really does help a lot. Good that you have good neighbors.

We bought this property from a single woman that won it in a divorce. I don't think she really ever wanted the land. Needless to say the land has been neglected for years. Bonus for me I guess. Cords and cords of dead hardwood for the taking.

I was just re looking at the pictures I posted and I realized something. You know you are ate up with firewood when you actually pose the wood before taking the picture. Good lord I've got it bad!

I couldn't agree more Dennis. I can't tell you how lucky I got with my draw on neighbors. I am honestly blessed. We've been here a year and they have been like a ready made family.
