Is that the oldest hedge tree in America? Is that tree on a church property or park or something?
Can you get any pics of it before it went down?

I will ask if they had pictures, it's old mansion that has turned into a charity. That was cut down and a silver maple. Was in power lines. I need a big saw! Want to get as much as I can before it's cleaned up

Yup. I split off what I had time for. Going to go back later. It is alit if good wood. All the neighbors picked what they could. Now it is mans work to get some lol

I have worked up some monster trunks. Some so big that I would measure my 20" stove length, sink the bar and make a slice, then come in from the butt end and cut that off. Do the same on the other side. The the chunk still left in the middle (it will probably only come out at 18" because the saw can't ride flush to the old cut.

Wow, I can't quite get the scope of those rounds. Can you take a measurement of the stump? Probably no need to hurry as it will surely be there 150 years from now.

The stump is pretty big. At least 6 by 6 haha. I went back and busted up what I could. My fingers hurt and my back is killing. Anyone ever feel like swinging at concrete????lol I didn't. Haha.

Talked to grounds keeper. Osage was cleaned up when got there today. Stump grinder did hell of job I was bummed it was all gone. Until I asked if tree guy was going to sell........nope he tossed all in woods. I can drive up and cut what ever I want. I'm pumped.
