Hi,
I came upon a Hearthstone wood stove today, and the only thing I could read on the back plate is the Model-Hearthstone, serial number-2792.
It looked pretty good, but I think stove numbers in that range are probably not rated for current use.
Any input on this will be appreciated.
Thank You,
Ringer

Picture would help. It is probably a Hearthstone H1. How many stones are across the top front? 12 stones on top (small and large) = H1, 3 large stones on top = H2.

i'm unable to post photos, but it has 3 top stones, stove dimensions = 22"D x 24" H x 22" wide, 40,000 BTU, 15" logs. This may help.
Thanks,
Ringer

my h2 can fit 17 to 18 inch logs. the last time i seen a h3 that was alot smaller than the h2.

Sounds like an H3 to me. Does it look like the attached picture?
