Hello, Just had a Piazzetta 963 multifuoco w/ the remote control installed in my new build home in Chile. So far the system seems to working well but the air flow is real weak into the main bed room which is the farthest from the unit but within the parameters of the manual. The home is approx 1500 sq ft w/ 20 ft ceilings with ceiling fans throughout. Would anyone know if there is a fan upgrade for this unit? Thanks

I have read somewhere on the forum that folks reverse the direction of their ceiling fans to help with heat flow throughout their homes. Others point a floor-level fan AT their stoves, thereby forcing colder air toward the stove and allowing warm air to circulate better. I am sure more experienced members will chime in shortly.

Chile? Are you the first person with a pellet stove there :) I thought the temperature rarely dipped below freezing.

Thanks for all the replies. Where I built my house in Pucon it does get "chilly" and we have a winter season. The pellet stoves are getting pretty popular here now, pellets are easy to find as there are several vendors in the area. Where I work in Punta Arenas, it's cold all the time but I just rent a house there and use gas for heat.

Didn't the Bosca line originate from Chile?
Like chickenman said, heating with pellet stoves takes a bit more time and some experimenting with air flows.

A 40 kilo bag (88 lb) runs about 20.00 U.S
Ouch, but if propain supplies dry up we could have an increased use of pellets and prices hike up here too.
Glad we stocked our heating fuel supply in July

Here they sell pellets in 40lb bags. I paid $6.90 per bag for high end premium pellets and people think Im crazy for spending that much.

If pellets went to $600 a ton here, my stove would be on the curb with a sign on it that say Free

Chilemike, search the threads for the owners of the Piazzetta 963 multifuoco - pretty sure there are a couple here - see what info they provide on their threads. I agree the 20' ceilings may be part of the strain on the system.

Enjoy your stove!

Did a wiki on your fair city . Enjoyed the needed , geography / history lesson. The only route in is by sea or air or road through Argentina ? That has to add to the cost of pellets and every other need
Looks and sounds like an interesting city.
