I don't know who else to complain to but I'm missing a 1/2 " wrench from my set. I'm pissed!!!!!

You will be more pissed when you come across it, where you laid it down.

I hope that happens tonight or I'll end up spending a fortune and buy a new set. Beer and lost tools is not good for my wallet.

Last time I looked, every tool brand sold single 1/2" wrenches.

I have another 1/2 but this screws up my polished set. Brotherbart is right they do sell single but I have to wait. Not good, I've got quite a buzz going I'll end up buying a snap on set tomorrow from the mobile guy though. No really, I'll order it but I really hate losing tools. It's killing me

I lost a snap on swivel offset ratchet years ago and I'm still kissed, that was close to 200 bucks.

If you have to buy a whole new set because you lost a wrench, I hope you never lose your car keys.

I also hate losing tools but I haven't had a good buzz in a while. I think I'll lose a wrench after work tomorrow.

I always blame my son, them it shows up on Fathers Day.;)

About 25 years ago I visited a junkyard in Cleveland that periodically had sales where they'd give you all the parts you could carry for something like $20. They'd do this once in a while as a way to squeeze as much value as they could out of their inventory before crushing up the rusting leftovers for scrap. For $40 two guys could tie seatbelts to a hood as lifting straps, and load that hood up with a few hundred pounds of other parts. If they could lift it off the ground and walk it all across a line, it was theirs. Anyhow I did this once and got all the parts I needed, but realized too late that I'd left a couple of Snap-On combination wrenches under the car I'd gotten the parts from. I still miss those wrenches.

I thought I lost my wallet yesterday. Looked (almost, apparently) everywhere. Was getting ready to drive 20 miles to last known location, sans license. Wife found it just before I left. What a relief.

I just found a long lost 1/4" drive socket wrench. It was in the battery compartment of my dad's Harley..... Bike hasn't run in 3 years.

I've got about 3 sets of long neck and standard 1/4" sockets. I seem to lose those the most, and have replaced and found lost one's many times!

I lost my 1/2" Craftsman wrench over the winter. I went to Lowe's to pick up a single 1/2" Kobalt wrench to replace it, and they had a full SAE set of polished wrenches on clearance for $7 that day. SCORE!! Now I can afford to lose 1/4" from 5/8" wrenches for awhile!

I've got a 7' wide mag that swings under my loader when in the transfer station yard. I get a 5 gallon bucket of whatnot including tools that weren't even mine every week.
That mag was $300 IIRC and its paid itself over many times in scrap/new to me tools and very few flat tires.==c
Ever try to pick up a 5 gallon bucket of mostly nails/screws/rust particles?

I have a feeling the handle might break off before the bucket leaves the ground, or soon thereafter.

I have 5 gallon bucket full of water under 2x72" knife grinder to keep the sparks and steel dust down in the shop. If I don't empty that for a while and I am in worker bee mode it gets pretty heavy. A bucket full of rusting carbon steel dust and water.

I love it. I think I have a sense of humor, but I guess I was still flumoxed from the experience and didn't realize the implications of what I wrote. :)
