My husband and I live in the Mojave (California) on 30 1/2 acres of beautiful desert. We have horses and I have 2 pot belly pigs, 3 dogs, and 1 cat. I moved up here in 1993 from Hollywood and what a culture shock it was but I LOVE IT! No neighbors, dirt roads, wood stove and all our animals. It is so peaceful here.
I work from home; started my own company in 2000 with 3 partners after our LA Media Company was bought out by a NYC holding company, and after working there 19+ years, they changed all the rules. So we ventured out on our own with our own niche and have been in business for 6+ years now. Loving every minute of it.
My husband is a High School Mathematics teacher, former Navy Lt. RIO (Top Gun). No Bob The Builder however. LOL! I have spent the last 13+ years re-doing our little house and it is small but very cozy.
