My interests line pretty much says it all. I have been married 11 years and have two wonderful children. I've been in Facilities Maintenance and Property Management for the last 15 years. I have little time to pursue fishing, but I get out more in the winter to ice fish. I have more time in the winter to woodwork.
I carve songbirds as a hobby and was in several competitions in New England many years ago. I am currently selling carved pieces in a local gallery, so my time here on Hearth.com is limited. I am currently into furniture restoration and re-purposing of old broken furniture into new useful pieces. I also like making art out of pieces of firewood with interesting grain patterns to them.

If you have an idea or want to commission a special wood project as a gift, feel free to e-mail me. Anything made out of wood piques my interest. I have a local supplier of hardwoods that carries the most popular species, with some exotic ones. Thanks for reading. Jon
