Living rurally in the Colorado Mountains & using mostly wood heat for the past 40 years.
Current stove is a Lopi Leyden feeding a Duratech Chimney.
Before that we used a Vermont Castings "Defiant" with an Excel Chimney.
Which was preceded for a few seasons by a Jotul working into single walled stovepipe.
Along the way we tried a few traditional/antique potbellied types as well as two wood cook stoves.
So we've accumulated some experience, and had some great fun, but the quest for the perfect stove continues!About
