1st time homeowner purchased 8 years ago. House built in 1983 and 'never' had any type of furnace - only heat was from a wood stove in the basement with secondary/backup electric radiant ceiling heat which was far too expensive to even think about turning on.
Used to hang out in the 'Hearth room - wood stove & fireplaces', but now I find myself daily in the Pellet Mill! You see, I have finally seen the light and now heat my entire home just with pellets - couldn't be happier and for the first time in 8 years I can come home to a 'warm' house, even if I'm gone for 3 days!
Although I do kinda miss all the cutting, bucking, splitting, hauling, stacking, splinters, & more stacking (rinse & repeat), I do have to say that I am enjoying all the 'FREE TIME' I now find myself with - and my family & children do as well.
