I'm a 16 year old who finds, cuts, splits, and stacks enough wood to heat my house and then some. i have been into this stuff since i was 12 when i first used a chainsaw. if i cant do it myself i learn how to.
i have owned 4 chainsaws in my life time...none of which ran properly when i got them. all of them work now and they have never been to a chainsaw shop. my two main saws are a husky 45 and a mcculloch timberbear. when i have something to big for the timberbear i borrow my friends stihl 660 magnum with a 4 foot bar.
i also hand split all my wood with a maul, wedge, and sledge...occasionally i borrow a 20 ton splitter but thats cause 4 foot rounds are almost impossible to split with a wedge.
my adult neighbors call me the 40 year old 16 year old. they borrow my tools all the time. i get made fun of in school all the time for being a redneck...i say who cares, and if they push me to far they find out what happens after you work all the time....you get really strong.
if im not making firewood, im playing lacrosse, baseball, running cross country, hunting, or playing in the mud(dirtbike/atv). I DO NOT AND HAVE NEVER OWNED ANY VIDEO GAMES.(they are likely the #1 reason the world has obesity problems and kids who dont do anything with there lives.)

constantly scounging for wood....if you live near me and have wood you will trade for labor pop me a PM. i am quite possibally the youngest person on this forum but am capable of almost anything an adult can do.
