Has anyone done testing on green supreme??? Just curious??
Or is new england wood pellets testing what were going by???

Same pellet as New England, just a different bag. Absolutely no sense in testing them because they get sawdust from a bunch of different places and the quality of their pellets goes up and down like a fiddler's elbow. Sometimes this pellet is mediocre, and other times it sucks, but it is never great. Test em today and tomorrow's results will be different- guarantee it!

No official test but burnt two bags. Decent heat and middle of the road ash. Not too bad for the price but nothing to write home about.

I just finished a ton of em. Some ash but decent heat. A middle of the road pellet IMO.
But , a lot less ash than those stinkin Lignetics i burned all last year.

I burned some earlier this year, thought they were fine heat with little ash. I'd buy them again.

+1 on the Lignetics.

Burned only around 20 bags, but my stove liked 'em.

I've been using 'only' green supremes in one of my stoves (Enviro Windsor) and also agree with the majority here - a decent middle of the road pellet with not too much ash. I do however, seem to build up a very light 'brillo pad like' clinker after a while, the kind which just crumbles upon touch - really not a big deal, but if left unattended after a while it most likely will cause a failed ignition upon restart. This could just be my stove and/or settings, I still would burn GS without a second thought.

I burned about 10 bags. Pretty good heat for the price, but needs cleanup almost every 2 two days. Lots of ash buildup and clinkers in the pot and creates a hard layer that needs some tougher than usual cleanup. But for the price, aint bad heat if you have the time for the 5 minute cleanup.

I've experienced the brillo pads too.

For what it's worth I have two bags to test in the next few weeks. I'm only looking to get the ash volume and weight. It has been a little warm to run both my stoves so the pellet one stays off. I should be able to get those two bags tested in the next few weeks.

Newbie to the pellet stove life and lovin' it!
Haven't "tested" per se but have gone back and forth between Great Americans, GS's, & Somersets - my favorite so far.

The GS are fairly decent (burned 4 bags so far). I use a grill therm. to keep an eye on air temp output. Great Am's get me 150 - 175 when new Winslow P140 is on lowest setting or #2.
GS will get me to about 175 - 200-ish. GS seems to have a bit more (haven't weighed or measured) dust in bag but nothing horribly bad. The color of the pellets is much different than the other 2 tons - kind of a "salt & pepper" coloring contrast. They do burn noticeably hotter - we usually run on lower settings of 1 or 2 so far (out of 5 which is a constant feed). We haven't hit the bitter cold here yet. The ash has a very noticeable difference in "consistency" - a bit more grainy and "clumpy" and maybe more ash overall but nothing worth worrying about.
By far the best of the 3 tons I have is the Somersets (burned 6-7 bags so far). I can easily hit 200+ on a #1 or 2 setting ("1" supposedly feeds at 1.4 lbs/hr.).

Definitely saving the Somersets (and GS's) for the really cold days ahead. I'll use the Great Am's for the "warmer" days.

The GA's biggest problem is the length of the pellets - easily about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2" which messes with the feed rates.

Stay warm!
