And I thought by the title Dave you ACTUALLY went out and cut up some wood! Should've known better. Lol...
BTW, I seen a show on tv today titled VIP Alaska. It went to various places in Alaska where you get the VIP treatment. I wish I could remember (pronounce for that matter) some of the nature preserves etc with some of the most awesome views. Of course all of the restaurants served some sort of fish/seafood. Yum! Alaska is on my bucket list someday!

we carried the tree for hundreds of yards, thawed it in the garage, had to trim a short round of the end.
Got pitch on my hands, needles in my hair & a mess on the floor. Nice to have a real tree

Didn't see the other pics when I posted Dave. A steeler towel? Your a few miles from Pittsburgh! For that pitch, a well known , milk crate owning, vertical splitter on hearth said to use mayo. Haven't tried it yet, but he said it works great!

Some of my fondest memories of Christmas are cutting the tree with the kids. The biggest thing was always WHICH ONE?! ;-)

No, it's part of who YOU are. The ONLY person I care for on the Steelers team is the coach, he's all class. Your QB is a major class turd.

Nice tree Dave . . . I've always liked the real trees better than the fake ones . . . even with the need to water them, the pitch and the needles . . . they're just more . . . wel natural . . . and they smell darn nice.

The oldest daughter and famdamily was planning to be here before Christmas, but plans changed and now not coming until Christmas day.
Plan was to do exactly what you've done, but we may end up pulling out the small fake tree while they're here. I could just decorate one in the yard, I guess.
