Damn, and I was looking forward to a wood pellet dinner for Christmas...

Couple of us have burned them. I think nailed nailer burned the most. I burned slightly more than a half ton. Decent but not as hot as Hardwood Heat's. About the same as the Stove Chow, decent middle of the road and works fine for the shoulder season.

How much they asking for them?

4:30 ish a bag (I bought two for cheapskate evaluation purposes) didnt ask the ton price

well... smells like more PINE than my Christmas tree!

I burned a ton of them last winter for shoulder season pellets...they were good.....no problems.

I burned a ton of them last shoulder season.
Decent median pellet.
Good heat but high ash.
If available (and right price) I'd buy them again for Spring/Fall burning.

At $215.00 a ton I'd snap them up if I were you.

My local TSC had them for $214/ton but when I went back last weekend they were gone and had a different brand.

Just at my local TSC in Carlisle PA.yesterday. They had Cheat River pellets if anybody local looking for pellets. I tried a few bags earlier in season from Lowe's. They are a just OK pellet. Had lots better & also had worse. What I tried back in October, did have some long pellets in them. I'm talking upwards close to 2" long & didn't break into easily. Stove augers would pop a couple times, snaping them into. But other then that. They did burn ok. Sorry, didn't get a price, wasn't looking to buy any. I went there seeing if they had any Hardwood Heat pellets ( rebagged from Hamer's ). tried several bags of them earlier in season from TSC & fell in LOVE with them, but didn't have any more room for a ton of these pellets, already filled space with bought pellets. They also had some of these Premier pellets, but did not grab any of them.

drove across town for 20 bags of hardwood heat pellets in the Jeep, now that was a trip!

The Carlisle PA. TSC is north of me, Tonight I will check out another TSC, south of me in Chambersburg PA., to see what they have. Will post results of what I find for those that maybe interested. I will try to get prices also.

Just got back from TSC in Chambersburg PA.. They have AWF ( American Wood Fiber ) at $5.99 a bag. They knock $.20 cents off a bag if you buy by the ton ( 289.50 per ton ). Pellets or price doesn't interest me.

My walmart has them for 3.98 a bag. I am stocked with 3 tons of Lignetics and 3 tons of hamers, so I don't need any

Mine smelled like mostly Oak and maple. Supposed to be hardwood, But Premier also has a hard/soft mix. But that is usually labeled from Canada plant. The PA plant might be mixing in some softwood because there isn't as much fiber available these days. Pretty sure the Stove Chow has softwood in it too. Made at the same plant AFAIK. Heck might be the same pellet even.

How they burning for you?

shoulder-ish!
