wow zim you rock with your wood = good job

nice..looks like u have lots of space to store wood...hom many cords u reckon u have?

That is a nice wood pile you got there. The weather is awesome for this time of year compared to the last 3 winters.

i think i have about 12 to 15 cords of bur oak and about 12 cords of ash and elm i have wood inside 2 sectoins of the barn also ,cant have to much wood..

I'd say you've done a little work there and are set for a while. How many cord do you have on hand?

i may s/s the rounds on the ground tomarrow ,then maybe cut a couple more truck loads of logs tomarrow afternoon, one of these falls ill do more hunting and fishing.

That is a WHOLE lot of wood!! You look to be set for quite awhile. It would be awesome to be so far ahead. Great job.

yah been at it 3 years to get ahead ,like Dennis says do what you can to get ahead ,seasoned wood burns the best as we all know,

What do you estimate you burn in a season? Nice pics!

Nice store of wood and looks like a great spot! Enjoy! Cheers!

25+ cords.... that's a whole lotta wood. You can take a 3 year break now.

dont know anything bout mules .but when i was 11 or 12 i worked on a farm up the road and one of my jobs was to clean the crap from the chicken coop. with a team of indian horses, the last cleaning something spooked the team.they took off, hours later they came back to the yard , no wagon and one horse dragging the other,we did have to put that great animial down..glad i dont have to collect my wood with a buck saw and horses...

That's the ticket zim, get way ahead and if you need rest for other hobby's etc...you won't feel guilty!

Beautiful. Looks great!

Best thing you'll ever do, taking advice from Dennis......

Now you know you can do some hunting and fishing next fall, taking it easy to collect just a seasons wood ;-)

Awesome
Looks like good weather for that kind of work.
I thought ND got winter :)
Great pictures

Zim, that is great! WE can also see you cover with what looks like old roofing like we do. One difference though; we also can tell you get some very high winds judging by the weights you have on that roofing. lol

yah Dennis i cover with metal and load it down with heavy rounds so nothing moves around...you know the ruteen ,cut split, stack, cover and let the wind and sun do its job...all in a wood mans ruteen.. hope your feeling beter so you can do what you love doing keeping your family warm warm and being around wood working,
