Merry Christmas!!
I'm new to pellets, and I'm wondering if any specific brands have specific scents?

Being Christmas do any have that pine scent?

A list of nice scents for specific brands would be cool.

Happy Holidays to all!

I burn Douglas fir pellets, it's what is available from the local pellet manufacturers. They smell like, well, Douglas fir!
But that is only if I hold them up to my nose. When they are in the hopper, I don't smell them at all.

Chanel #5's aren't bad...

My fav's are Douglas fir, Pine or SPF and Oak pellets.

Doug fir smell like xmas trees to me and just love the smell of them.

Somersets & Hamers smell great!

Potatoes wrapped in aluminum foil smell the best. :)

I concur. :)

Tempted to try cooking a few in my stove as was discussed in another thread.

OHP's smell the best. they remind me of the lumber yard we had in the little town i grew up in. theyd leave the gate open and we would sneak in and play in the sawdust. OHP's burn terrible though.

Just picked up my first SW pellets this weekend. They are southern yellow pine - Independence. Great smell and burn very good.

Of all the pellets I've tried over the years
I thought these smelled best:
LG
Vermont Wood
Okanagan

Christmas is over now so maybe it doesn't matter but, the best smelling
pellet isn't necessarily the best burning/heat producer
but for me the Okanagan is a winner of both.
