Anyone hear of a used Husky 357xp in great shape for sale in the NEPA / SouthernTier of NY area let me know please!

A fella I cut firewood with forgot to lock his garage yesterday and now he's out a saw.

It's a standard saw, only difference from stock is it has an Oregon bar on it, 20 inches in length.

Should stand out at the pawnshop.

I know it's long odds at ever finding this stuff, but who knows, figured I'd let you guys know just in case. Appreciate anyone who keeps an eye out.

Can't stand a thief.

One good reason to not by from pawn shops.
lots of the stuff is stolen. ;)

Friend had a dirt bike stolen a few years ago. It was a CR500, not rare but don't see them every day in good shape. So when he found another at a local dealer he bought it. Turned out to be his. Oops.

Keep an eye on Craigslist.

You cannot go wrong by putting your drivers license number on the saw or any tool of value. That is a POSITIVE id and Police have access to your number unlike SS number. A vibrating engraver works great

I like it! But what if you sell it?

I like it! But what if you sell it?

No system is perfect but, its not like a saw will be sold and bought 10 times and the new owner will have something to help as a theft deterrent.

Well, then if the saw is stolen from the new owner, you get your saw back! ;)

We should not have to lock our garages, I do not understand where people get off thinking it is ok to take someone elses property. No excuse for this.

First shot, then hung, then drowned just to be sure the job was done.

Considering how I went ballistic 2 1/2 yrs ago when I caught that lowlife neighbor behind me stealing $20 of wood from over the fence, cant imagine how I'd react if they stole something that I use every day to earn a living & keep a roof over my head.I probably wouldnt be sitting here typing this, even from the prison library ;-)

I am in your area and am in the market for a 2nd saw so I am visiting shops often. I will keep an eye out. Feel free to PM me with details and a more specific location. Good luck

Pen,
There's a board on arboristsite just for listing stolen items. Can't hurt.
Does your friend have the s/n of the saw?
