I have a Kozi 100 insert. This past weekend I filled it and turned it on (elec start). It was on setting 5 which is where I wanted it at first to burn off dust etc. After 20 minutes I wanted to set it back to a 3 but the button would not change the setting. Does anyone know of a reset switch on the control panel? The manual was not much help as I have no error codes either. My service people want to charge me $150 just to come out but I don't want to do that if it is just a reset somewhere. Thanks for any help you can provide.

If a stove refuses to answer the controls it either is in a sequence that doesn't allow changing the settings (start up frequently locks the controls out for a fixed period of time, some controls allow changes to some setting but don't act on those until after startup has completed which can be some time) is doing so for safety reasons, frequently the only function they will act on is a shutdown request.

I'm not saying this is the case with your controller.

One of the more common resets is to power off the stove, wait for it to shutdown, pull the plug, wait 15 or more seconds and plug it back in.,and turn the stove back on.

Also a lot of stoves automatically cycle through all of the heat ranges and exit from start up on high and then switch to the selected heat range.

I know this is a late response, but my Kozi will not allow setting changes until it is fully up to temp. 20 minutes is probably not long enough to wait.
