We have been so blessed with a warmer than normal fall that I am thankful for. Today it is 26 degrees with a viscous wind chill in S W Virginia with a forecast in the mid teens the next couple of nights, wind chills near zero and highs below freezing the next couple of days. Thankfully starting Thurs we are supposed to warm again to 40-50 for highs. Gave stove a good cleaning trying to get prepared

same here in Ohio
supposed to warm up Wednesday to mid 40's again

Yep, getting colder here too.....supposed to get to the low 20's tonight, and down to around 10 tomorrow night. Just switched the stove over to Hi-Lo, and put some good pellets in the hopper....I'm ready.

EDIT: Just decided that I better give the stove a good cleaning too. She's purring like a kitten again. :)

Same here in Maine...
going out to get some oakies tomorrow to try them out...
been burning mwp with no problem but i'd like to try the oakies...
talking 14 below wind chill here tomorrow night...

18* tonight. High pf 20* tomorrow and 17* tomorrow night. About time. Can finally strech the Fahrenheits legs. Have only ran it overnight. If its above 35* its to much to keep it on High/Low. Been shutting off all day and starting back up at night....

Looking forward to the colder weather (Yep, I said it ;-P)

20 degrees here in N. Georgia tonight!!!!! So much for the warm South! High of 38 tomorrow. Looks like a 2 bag day tomorrow. hmmmm, kind of reminds me of someone I dated!!!

ADDED> Sure wish I had a coal stoker and some anthracite! 100,000 btu's makes you MIGHTY TOASTY!!!

Same here in Tennessee.I had to put the Greenways and American Fibers up and break out the good stuff Henry County Hardwoods...Nellie Belle is blowing some good hot air...

Call me crazy, but I love winter. I might have a different option if I lived in a colder climate. Love snow too.. But don't get a whole lot around here.

About 10 years ago I built a snow gun. Last year was my best year. I pumped 50,000 gallons of water through it over the course of the winter.

Tonight with lows in the teens it will my first night of snowmaking for the winter. Usually I can start making some the first of December.

My kids love it....

Graham, you are the best dad ever!

18 degrees right now, forecasting a drop to a low of 5 tonight. Ok, lets see what this stove can do.

Too soon for me! It's -5 fahrenheit and going down here in NNY and I don't have my PB105 installed yet.

It is suppose to get down to -20 to -30 with the wind chill tonite here in Millinocket Maine...burrr....stove is purring...about 80 degrees in the kitchen and 73 here in the den area. The Geneva pellets are putting some good heat out..

Right now in W Pa (6.58PM) it is 7.1 degree.
By the end of the month I hope to be down in the Tampa, Fl area.
This weather will be nothing but a memory....

12 f here now and dropping. I have to admit I don't care for it one bit. Filled the bird feeders, put out suet, also cracked corn.
Didn't cover my plants so with no snow, this deep freeze will kill a lot of our roses etc. So next spring will be time to replant. Maybe this time with more cold tolerant plants.

Wow, what a different! 40's a couple days ago to single digits tonite. Gonna hit the hot stuff for these temps. Switch the stove to high/low while I'm at it.

Winter's here! all that's missing now is snow!

yes, i said it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hate to burst your bubble, but after tomorrow, temps are going back into the 40's for at least 7-8 days, and it will be close to 50 on Saturday....WooHoo! :)

yeah i know :( i hate winter without snow. blah.

I had enough of the white $h!+ during the Holloween storm! Hopefully we got it in a one and done! Probably just jinxed myself there!

My Harman P43 is going to be put to the test tonight! Of course I at work tonight but wife has pellets in set stove to 75. First floor where stove sits is 74 and second floor 70! 9 degrees out now. Got the stove new end of Feb last year so this is a good test tonight.
