Dropped down to 3 here on the ridge tops in central Pa. Always turn the stove down to 65 at bed time, makes the little lady snuggle up a little closer

I broke into my Hamer's stash for tonight.

+1 - Here in MD it was single digits last night. Dumped in some Hamers and woke up to 71 degrees. Holy shat. I rolled back the temp on my Harman to 67 but I guess the Hamers were throwing off the heat.

Where in MD can you get those pellets? I'm looking for something other than what Home Depot offers. I'm in South eastern PA and havent found super premium pellets. I actually work in Maryland so I figure i can go most places there too for some real good stuff

4*F here in S. Maine overnight, got the Harman Accentra cranking with Maine's Choice and Maine Wood Pellets, house at a toasty 69*F and NO OIL, Yeah baby!!!

I bought mine in Hanover, PA but it looks like you are a bit far from them. My suggestion is to search all the hearth stores in your area.

-10 outside this morning, but toasty inside.

Tom C.

Well 2 degrees here in eastern NY / western mass we did get as low as -4 with the wind chill but ran through a bag of summersets in 13 hours. House stayed above 71 in every room...

I love my pellet stove.

Hello

The Low here this morning was 7.9 Degrees. Brrrr but added the Clean fire Pacific Blend wood pellets. Good stuff and very low ash!

Listen to all of us....we are really whacked, aren't we?

6* here this AM. Went for the Green Team last night. Opted to put the P61A in Stove Temp #2 last night. Big mistake. 60* inside at 5AM. Going back to Room Temp mode tonight. I need to figure this sucker out even though I've had it a year!

Yeah I am whacked as well!
Warm anywho!!

0* this AM slight breeze.
78* downstairs and 65*-68* upstairs.
Had my morning coffee in front of the stove.
Great way to start the day!!

Y'all are pansies! You're not even in the negatives yet fer chrisakes! :p

It was -15F (-26C) this morning when I left the house. Stove temp on 3 and the place is a nice 75F downstairs and 71F upstairs.

I switched it to room temp set @ 65F when I left, but I'm watching the web cam and the stove hasn't shut off yet.

Yeah, I was hoping it would be the coldest of the season, but it didn't happen.

What 76brian forgets is our neighbors to the south use the Fahrenheit scale not Celsius.

Sorry what I forgot is that brian lives in frigid part of the province.

If I forgot about that, why would I have used the distinction between F and C in my post? :) Nobody posted F temps below 0. I didn't say below FREEZING, I said in the NEGATIVE, as in below 0.

I did the same thing the other day when I left for work. After reading all the Stove Temp users, figured I'd give it a try. Came home to a 61 degree house. Room Temp seems much easier to manage. I'm not sure how Stove Temp should be implemented.

Was a brisk 1 degrees here in NH this morning. Burning Clean-fire Pacific in my Mount Vernon AE in my drafty 150 yr old 2300 SF farmhouse. Until this cold snap, been able to keep my 1st floor a nice 70-74 easily, but my MV had a hard time keeping this drafty old house warm. Had to kick on the furnace a bit. Looks like Ive got some additional insulating this summer.

11 degrees here this morning. The thermostat read 67. Running my 10-cpm on 7. Forgot to fill up before I left for work. Come home to a 58 degree house. Kids and wife look like we did when we had propane...cold. Just started the pellets up again at 4:30pm. It'll be a while before it gets to 70. Live and learn.

Went to work last night at 10pm and the house was at around 72 °F and around 13 °F outside. Came home this morning to a 67 °F (7 °F outside) house because the wife didn’t get up early enough to reposition pellets. She didn’t figure in the higher pellet consumption, I had set, to compensate for the significantly colder night….....not sure what I’m paying her f %-P r.

I had 5* here this morning. I set the thermostat down to 72* at night (it's about 10' away from stove). Most of the house was at 65*, upstairs was 62.
Looks like i'll have to turn thermostat up a bit or move it further away.

We had 6ºF this morning. Had Hamers in the hopper and the stove set to high/low. Heat settein on 3 of 5. Stat setback to 68ºF until 3:00 am when it changed to 72ºF. House was a toasty 72ºF when we got up at 5:00am. Cold really, Nah!

2 degrees per hour of rise even in this cold? I ain't complaining and would have been happy with 70ºF. I think I can live with this as its the first(could be the second?) real test with my duct mod. Happier than a pig in pellets! :cheese:

4 degrees this morning. I finally had to turn my PDVC up to feed rate of 2 (of 9). These Green supremes seem to work good for me. It was 74 when I went to bed at 10:00 and at 6:15 it was 73. I can't complain about that.
