Well, HD online has dropped the NC30 from $1099 to $899. Anyone seen the magic $649 NC30 yet?

I kept looking at my HD in Indiana and price is still $1099 but then I search the Maryland stores and still $1099 but that includes shipping so what you have to do and I found one store in Maryland that has 2 left and if you click on pick up at store then it shows $899

I'm seeing $899. Extremely tempting. Anyone have any experience with HD and shipping the stove? Do they bring it and set it ground level or do you need people there to unload it? That's been my only concern as far as buying because though my truck would have no problems hauling it, I'm not in to killing myself or friends trying to get it off the truck. If it gets delivered at least to the driveway I can get a dolly to move it where I need to.

Thanks to all you Englander people, thinking about getting rid of my 4 year old small Napoleon stove for the 30.

Seen it at the store last month or so for $899.00
Not sure if they will drop to 50% off or not.

If HD is consistent the price will drop some more like it has the past two seasons. At $700 the 30 is easily the best deal on earth! I would still love to try one ;-)

I am waiting in the shadows like a ninja... if I can find one under $800 within 50 miles, then I will suddenly get a tummy ache at work and have to leave right away.

N3Pro, your link still shows the higher price,

For those of you looking for the lower price punch in the Harrisburg PA Zipcode.

Also they have a price on the NC-13 $649

The only time I have seen a $649 30 is at the END of the season. Like March. Hopefully there are some left at your Home Depot. I am in CT. There was one that sat for a while last year for $649. It was the floor model too.

End of season is ok by me... so is floor model. In fact, it could be the Hello Kitty model for all I care.

I bought my Englander 30 this past March for $600. If you can wait long enough the price will still keep coming down. I waited until they dropped it to $849, and then down to $649, and finally when there were only a few left in Massachusetts the price went down to $600. I had a 10% off coupon so it came to about $575 after taxes. <----that is the best deal on earth!

This was a brand spanking new model wrapped up on a pallet way up on one of the shelves. They loaded into the back of my truck with a forklift and away we went.

Unless you need one now, keep waiting.

LOL! Nice!

HD delivery for me was awesome. They called in advance arranged a time to drop and used a pallet jack to roll it to their elevator and dropped it in my driveway where i asked them to.

It's my understanding that YMMV because they use independent carriers. Mine was great and the stove was on a little pallet and in a nicely packaged box. open it up while they are there just to be safe.

Some of the big purchases in my life have shortly been followed with a sense of buyer's remorse that goes away after figuring out that you didn't waste your money and the product is good. When i saw the deal, I clicked, I waited, and I NEVER EVER WORRIED. Best deal I ever made IMHO. Heck, now that I have the stove, I feel it's totally worth the 899 or 1200 or whatever you can get it for. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another even if it cost more. I got mine last year for $649 and free shipping to my door. The shipping was great! Not sure the $649 price will return, but I thought I read that the $899 price included a blower?

The 30 is a great stove and a heat BOMB!!!

Good luck,
Bill
