I don't know why, I just do. Gotta be 90+ cc. I'm gonna go used I think, & am not set on any brand. Give me your input, all opinions welcome. I'm not opposed to a ported work saw either. I do want to be able to use it as a "daily driver" though. A C

It's not a 90 cc but I just got the new 391 and love it.

Where I live in Southern Appalachia, you see older big saws for sale a couple of times per year. From what I have seen they are not used much. There is some software to help you search the entires CL or you could broaden your search area up there. I drove an hour to get my 372.

What bar you gonna run on a 90 cc saw?

24" & maybe a 36" I'm gonna rebar my 064 to 20" for mid range cutting & run the longer bars with the new saw in bigger stuff.

HS yea the 390 or even a 395 xp is on the short list. I've not run a lot of huskies (lack of a good dealer) but my 064 got out run by a 395 xp a little while back, so now it's "game on". I need another saw like I need a hole in the head, but I haven't bought one in almost a year soooo. BTW whats the big dolmar model? I don't know off the top of my head. A C

Husky 3120XP
Husky 2100/2101XP
Husky 394/395XP
Stihl 084/088/880
Dolmar 9100

Stihl 090
McCulloch SP125 (if old school suits you)

I'd be as happy as a pig in mud with any of these.

Hehehehe, I find an 090 & you'll be the 2nd to know :cheese: .

3120 was the one I forgot about.

088/880 are in the mix for sure.

Jay, the 660 was my first thought, but I don't think it's much of a step up from the 064. Is your's modded at all? My 064 will run with a stock 660 quite well. If I bump the 064 down to my mid range saw I'm wanting some real grunt in the cut. I remember you mentioning that the 660 will out cut the 880 till you get into the monsters?

Maybe I should get my head examined? LOL

BTW where's Southbound when you need him ? A C
