P43 does burn any Wood pellet good but Pennington did seem to burn a bit dirty and not as warm as others. Best pellet I burnt so far has been Somerset!

Penningtons require lots of extra air to burn right. Unfortunately it also clogs my stove with ash, so I have to do a deep cleaning. Conclusion their are crap, cheap, but crap. So they are full of bull crap.

My Quad will burn anything, it burned Pennington and MWP, so there.

The Quad will burn any pellet. Your Avatar should show everyone that. Im just sayin they produce very little heat..

I have not met a pellet yet that it wouldn't burn... Nothing burns like a Quad..

:gulp: uh oh.... ;-P

As stated they will burn if the air is adjusted correctly (just not hot). Are they ashy and sooty a big yes. Do they throw nice heat, NO.

I could stand the extra ash and soot but lack of heat is unacceptable. If i had bought 4 ton of these and not known about this forum and all the info regarding how different the heat output are between various brands, well i would be telling all my friends a pellet stove is a terrible investment. I assumed all pellets are the same, and i think most new users are not the wiser.

The bags i had are 2009 date coded. I have read that those were produced around the time they had known issues. Walmart has some that were produced in oct of last year. May grab a bag or two and see if those are better.

Those garbage pellets where the only ones my Harman wouldn't burn! I gave 3 bags to a neighbor with a horse, bet he wouldn't crap on these things!

I grabed 2 bags of Penningtons. I might even do a test on them and post the results on the other site.

Other site?
Can anyone clue me in on this double secret website? PM me if it's not cool to post here. ;)

Don't get me wrong. Pennigans suck but the worste pellets for heat that I've run across are WoodFibers Inc.
