Look on youtube for ratting terriers- you'll see amazing stuff. Tens of rats in tens of minutes.

Forward to about 1:40 to see them in action- just awesome, and pretty funny
At about 3:30 you'll see the pile of rats from probably just moving a few hay bales

When I was growing up on the farm, we had a dog that was a border collie/rat terrier mix. I guess that's why we didn't have a rat problem when I was young :)

All I gotta say is a fox terrier will do the same thing. Murphys breeders routinely lock up the barn, and let the smooths loose. Grab, shake, and move on. They knock 'em out like crazy.

Terriers can kick some serious butt when it comes to vermin. Murphs heading out to his Auntie Lynnies next weekend, got some trouble shooting to do %-P

I can't imagine what they'd do in a fox hole, but I'm sure it isn't pretty
