Feeling the Heat
i am curious to know if anybody is currently running either of these saws???

I'm not,but that 562XP would be #1 on my list of choices if I was looking for another mid-sized saw right now.
 
I'm a Stihl guy through and through and I want to get my hands on that 562XP to see what she's made of...
 
I have not even seen any of those on the shelves yet (just an internet commercial). I think one of them has a minor recall but your probably good to go with an XP saw. FWIW a friend of mine ordered his XP saw from Baileys and it was ~ $100 cheaper than the dealer.
 
Still tough to find at dealers, but there are some reviews on AS. Both saws are getting great reviews. I'd love to have a 562XP
 
Seems to me that although Husky has a devout following here, Stihl owners outnumber Husky owners by far.
