 Looks nice!

He/She does not look amused with you taking the photo . . . better be careful that the cat doesn't go all Sean Penn on you. ;)

A moderator moved my post here.
I will continue with the details.

I started with this...

I researched inserts for 6 months before deciding that the cost outweighed the benefits.

Decided to enclose a patio and install a freestanding stove.

Ceiling fan blowing down disperses warm air throughout the house.
30 degree nights and my 3000 sq ft house has been between 76 and 78 degrees.

hey, nice loking setup you have!!!

Thanks, but the credit should go to all of the members here that have given their advise. I have been reading and searching this forum for over a year.
Although I have not posted much I have learned a lot by "lurking" :)

Everything from the selection of the stove to the installation has been influenced by this forum.

We used to keep our thermostat set to 68 degrees.
Now we can keep the house much warmer and not use the central heat.

One side effect...now my wife says it is cold when the house temps get down to 73. The wood stove has set a new comfort level in our house.

That's a cat stove I could love...
